Speaker: Michelle Adler – author of 'Burnley Gardens: their Design and the People who loved them'

Michèle worked as a Lecturer in Horticulture at Burnley from 1985 to 2015 and was a founding member, past president and Honorary Life Member of the Friends of Burnley Gardens in 1997. She is also a journalist, author of many books and a television and radio presenter. Her book on the early history of the Burnley Gardens won the HMAA Book Laurel for best horticultural book in 2023-24.

Michele's passion is experiencing plants in their natural environment. She and her partner have led tours to many wild places in the world as well as garden tours to France & England.

Time: 7.30pm for an 8.00pm start

Where: Mt Waverley Community Centre, 47 Miller Pde, Mount Waverley
